Definitive Map and Statement

The Definitive Map and Statement are legal records of footpaths, bridleways and byways in Nottinghamshire.

They can be viewed, free of charge, during normal office hours at our offices in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Please call to make an appointment.

Legal changes can be made to the map to add, remove, change the status of a path and divert a right of way. You can view online all current applications to modify the Definitive Map and Statement.

Access News provides updates on what’s new on the county’s rights of way including path closures and changes to the Definitive Map and Statement.
