Councillors' code of conduct

County Councillors are bound by a strict code of conduct to make sure that they fulfil their duties and responsibilities properly and with the public interest always in mind. They are required to declare a personal interest about any issue on which they might vote or speak.

Anyone who believes that a Councillor may have breached the Code of Conduct can make a complaint to the County Council's Standards Committee.
