Children and young people's assessments

Assessments are the name we give to the work we do to decide whether you need a service from the County Council. They usually involve discussions with you, and often with other people who are involved in caring for you.

You can request a children and young people’s assessment to help the County Council find out about your child's needs and the problems you are having, and work out what help we can offer.
