Bridleways

Bridleways are one of four different types of rights of way found in Nottinghamshire.

You may walk, cycle or ride a horse along a bridleway. However cyclists must always give way to walkers and horse riders when on a bridleway.

Bridleways are signposted from the roadside and are waymarked with blue arrows to help you follow the correct route.

Our Finding Your Way guide [PDF 2116KB] includes information on your rights when using rights of way in Nottinghamshire and how to identify them on a map.
