Nottinghamshire County Council manages three country parks:

  • Rufford Abbey Country Park
  • Bestwood Country Park
  • Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve

The parks are visited by over a million people a year and are a great way to relax and enjoy the natural world at its best.

Our parks are open 364 days per year with just a small parking charge at weekends and Bank Holidays from April to December and throughout the school summer holidays at Rufford Abbey Country Park and Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve.

Season tickets for car parking are available, and there’s no charge for blue badge holders.
